Mudvayne Land The New Game On The Billboard Charts

Mudvayne have landed their new album on the Billboard 200 at number 15 with nearly 50,000 sold. It’s less than a third of what Lost And Found sold in 2005, but the times are changing and this isn’t a bad start. Also, Koopa pointed out that this album wasn’t as hyped as Lost And Found. Sure a few press releases here and there and some audio streams, but not  a lot of plastered advertising. If you’re hesitant about The New Game, there is nothing to be afraid of. This is a great record and there will be a follow up to it next year.

On another not, I had a phone interview with Greg Tribbett last Friday, but we got disconnected a bit early in to the interview so I really have nothing to say about that except that Greg sounded very bland as if he didn’t want to do the interview. I may get to follow up with the band next month in Norfolk if I’m lucky. Here is the video for “Do What You Do“.
