On February 20th Swedish prog-metal (and one of my new favorite bands) Opeth will be performing in Russia for the very first time at St. Port Club in St.Petersburg, Russia. Russian fans have probably been awaiting this day for a very long time.

As if you didn’t know, Opeth are touring behind their latest release, Watershed.

On another note, if you have not had a chance to watch the newest Opeth DVD The Roundhouse Tapes, I highly recommend it. The Roundhouse Tapes was filmed at the famous Roundhouse in London back in 2006. If you never get to see an Opeth show due to living far from a supporting venue, then your best bet is to pick this up and experience an Opeth show from the comfort of your home without having to stand in the midst of a sweaty, sold-out crowd.
