Kataklysm Frontman's Side Project Ex Deo Post New Demo Online

Kataklysm-110 Maurizio Iacono, front-man of Kataklysm has a side project called Ex Deo. They are recording an album called Romulus that will be released later this year on Nuclear Blast Records. Maurizio wants to make it very clear that Ex Deo is not a lateral move from Kataklysm and that he’s not leaving the band and they are working on a new album for 2010. Some members of Kataklysm are also involved in the Ex Deo Process.

Ex Deo is metal inspired by The Roman Empire and can be described as Kataklysmic Pagan/Viking Metal.  You can check out the demo “Cry Havoc” from Ex Deo at their myspace.
