Megadeth Near Completion Of New Album

Dave Mustaine has announced in his latest Megadeth Forum writings that the album is in the process of being mixed, mastered and sequenced.

Droogies!

Wow, the last week has just slipped right past me and here we are getting ready to start mixing, mastering (no worries here), and sequencing the record. We have all of the 12 songs done and ready to be revealed soon.

I am also going to start doing interviews for the new record and of course the upcoming Megadeth and Slayer dates in Canada. Let me assure you though, the interviews may be really short, because if I get asked anything antagonistic or I am told, “someone said this and someone said that,” it will be over. I don’t care.

I am honestly looking forward to these dates, and hopefully more than just breaking the ice and doing four concerts with some old friends. I currently have the flu so this is going to be short.

I love you all and thanks for checking in on me here, and at TheLIVELine.

MSGD!

I can’t wait to get a listen and to see how Chris Broderick fits in to the bands sound. Also it appears that Dave doesn’t want an “antagonistic” questions. I have to side with him on this one. I don’t want to read any more interviews where the same stupid questions are asked over and over again and I’m sure it gets tiring for him as well. People are always trying to rile Dave up and make him say something that hack bloggers like myself will probably blow out of proportion. If I ever had the chance to interview Dave, I honestly don’t know what I would ask but I can assure you that I wouldn’t try to disrespect him or make myself an enemy. It would be a privilege and I would be grateful for the opportunity. Besides, I wouldn’t want to piss him off, seeing that I stole the name for this blog from one of his song titles.
Really looking forward to some new Megadeth and hope to catch them on tour soon after, even if I have to travel more than a few hours and take time off of work.
