1st Annual Virginia Death Fest 2009

1st Annual VA Deathfest

1st Annual VA Deathfest

Attention NC and Virginia death metal fans! August 8th 2009 in Danville Virginia at Plan B is the first annual VA Death Fest. Get ready for almost 12 hours of sickness as 14 bands take the stage to bludgeon your ears with some of the best local (NC/VA), national and international death metal this fucked planet has to offer. There will be food…there will be BLOOD! You can get your tickets for the show for $10 presale or $12 at the door. For presale go to Plan B and for more information visit the VA Death Fest Myspace. Comatose Music, North Carolina’s premiere independent label for Death Metal will be sponsoring and will have a booth with all the cd’s, dvds, t-shirts and shit that your poverty stricken asses can afford. Times are tough for everyone and the bands will appreciate your support. This is an ALL AGES show, so bring your kids and tune their ears to good metal instead of that metal/deathcore horseshit that’s plaguing the masses of our youth.

  • metalguy:

the backwards order of the dates really confusedme. i thought it started at 11:30 into the next day at 2:30. weird

  • Scott:

lol. I copied and pasted the dates off of the VA Deathfest myspace. I was going to switch them around, but I’m lazy. It confused me too the first time I read it. I’m taking my 11 year old to give him a taste of death metal. That and he’s been bugging me to take him to a show.

  • metalguy:

thats great. im glad youre not afraid it will “harm” him or some crap like that

  • Scott:

He hears the music all the type of music all the time anyway. I took him to Mayhem Fest last year and he had a blast. I kind of want to go this year but it’s on a week day and I don’t feel like sitting through Manson and BFMV just to see Slayer again. I’ve also seen a lot of the other bands playing at least once already. We’ll have a great time.

  • InthePit:

Dude, Comparative Anatomy is the shit, totally going early to see them, that’s a bummer they got thrown in there first, must have been added late. So weird.
