Back In The Saddle
My move this weekend went okay. Uhaul sucks enormous balls because I made a reservation a week in advance and they send me to a place that doesn’t have a single truck. I end up going way out of my way for a truck and started way late. Time Warner came this morning and hooked up Roadrunner, which is a great relief after dealing with Dial-up for the last 2 years, plus.
After getting back online this morning, I got an email saying that I have a media pass for Mayhem Fest. Unfortunately I have taken two days off of work in the last week so I won’t be able to get the time off to go. Which kind of sucks but I kind of gave up on my request and decided to go to the VA Death Fest in Danville, VA next Saturday.
Anyway, it’s good to be back online, even if the best news right now is the Limp Bizkit/ Machinehead drama. I’m going to work on a review here shortly for the new Divine Heresy album. See you then.

Uhaul sux. They did the same exact thing to me except they wanted me to pay more for a bigger truck. Told ‘em to keep it. In the end they ended up refunding my deposit twice. Serves ‘em right!!
If they sub a truck they are supposed to give it to you for the same price. Budget was cool to me a few years ago. I needed a bigger truck and they actually gave it to me for the same price as the smaller truck. Normally I would go with them but the local Budget truck dealer closed.
Congrats on getting out of rural hell. If I didn’t use a Sprint phone that was insanely hackable, I would still be stuck with dialup as well. Even tethering with my phone, I end up stuck at a 7 – 15k connection during peak times.
Yeah, I’m loving the speed. Almost don’t know what to do with myself.
