Legendary Hardcore punk/Thrash crossover pioneers D.R.I. are hitting the road again with a handful of confirmed dates. After a hiatus, Spike Cassidy, one of two remaining founding members is returning to the stage after surgery to remove cancer from his colon 3 years ago. It’s said that he’s on the path to a full recovery and that he is cancer free as of last year. The only other original member is Kurt Brecht, the vocalist. Having not made an album since 1995′s Full Speed Ahead, the band still tours when they can. I would love to see them hit my area, but it looks as if North Carolin is getting skipped.
