Okay, every other metal site has talked about this and I’ve been trying not to. I mean, when I heard Rob Zombie was re-making Halloween 1, I was a total skeptic. I’m a big fan of the original for many reasons and to think that someone was going to remake it just blew my mind. When I saw the new film I didn’t think it was too bad. When I heard he was making a sequel I thought, meh~

The problem I keep seeing now is that every time I see a trailer for the new Halloween 2 it seems to have times where it looks like another bad Rob[White] Zombie video. Granted, he couldn’t do much worse to this franchise because if we’re all honest with ourselves, the sequels went to shit, well, pretty much after the first movie.  Halloween 3 wasn’t even about Michael Myers and everything after that was just a mockery of the Michael Myers name and legacy and got carried away with stupid story lines just like the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies. So, if he does go ahead and continue to do these films I certainly hope that he can improve on the movies. I’ll have to wait and see Halloween 2 before I make any kind of REAL judgment call on it. Until then, here is a trailer.
