Phil Anselmo is loved by a lot of fans and hated by even more. After the break-up of Pantera and the media frenzy of words taken out of context, Phil has been given the reputation of an asshole. People hated Phil even more after Dimebag’s murder for reasons unjustified. The fact is that Phil has been through addictions, drama and all sorts of shit that any normal person might go through. The fact that he’s a name in the metal business makes him an easy target for criticism, even after he’s cleaned himself up.If he died tomorrow everyone in metal would be kissing his ass even if they talked a ton of shit about him in the past.
