Sunday Morning Scrap Metal Report 8/23
Normally you don’t see much posting from me on the weekends but I’m going to try to at least get one a day up. A few things went on over the weekend so I’ll get right to them.
- Zakk Wylde was hospitalized after a show Wednesday night ion Montana due to a blood clot[s]. Seems like he’s doing better but he had go back yesterday for further tests or something. Black Label Society will also be touring South America in December.
- Also hospitalized recently was Joey Jordison of Slipknot. They were supposed to headline the Pain In The Grass in Auburn Washington last night but had to cancel. No word as to why Jordison was actually hospitalized but it couldn’t have been anything too major because he’ll be back on stage tonight in Kennewick Washington.
- Dave Mustaine Issued and update on the Megadeth Forums recently where he talked about antagonistic interviewers and passed people that Auditioned for the band. He actually said that he may have made a mistake by not hiring Dimebag and Vinnie Paul.
I would have loved to have played with Darrell and Vinnie Abbott, no offense to Nick Menza, but I think that I made a mistake on this one. I am glad that I chose Nick and stuck by him, but the imagination has to go off the Richter scale when one thinks of what Darrell, Vinnie, Junior and I would have done. WOW! I guess I will have to wait for Heaven to find out.
It’s pretty cool to imagine a Megadeth with Dimebag and Vinnie, but it’s also hard to imagine a metal world without Pantera.
- Below is video of the 9 Year old Yuto Miyazawa [even though Ozzy says he’s 7] and Gus G playing at Blizzcon last night in Anaheim California.

Well I hope he’s okay and it’s nothing serious. Thanks for the update, Faith.
