Morgan Harrington: Time To Stir The Pot A Bit
**Let me revise this a little bit so nobody takes this the wrong way. I, in no way mean any disrespect to Morgan Harrington and/or her family. I am sympathetic, I just don’t understand the media and their motives.**
So, it’s been confirmed that the skeletal remains found in Virginia yesterday were those of Morgan Harrington, the girl that went missing after a Metallica concert. Now I don’t know all the details behind everything and I haven’t followed the story the entire time. I never posted anything about it because I thought it was totally irrelevant to this blog, Metallica concert or not.
I totally feel for the family and I’m glad they have closure now. I have a daughter and a son and it would blow my mind to have either of them go missing. My main question in all of this is, why so much media around this one missing person? I mean, people go missing every day. Sad but true. Children are raped and murdered. Many people are kidnapped and even sold in to sex slavery. Again. Why so much media on one person?
It’s been all over CNN since the beginning. Blabbermouth has been posting shit about it every ten minutes. Etc, etc. Why? If she hadn’t happened to be at a Metallica concert would Blabbermouth be reporting it? If she didn’t happen to be a pretty white girl, would CNN be giving it as much coverage? I’ve been wondering this from the get-go.
Whatever the case may be, I hope they find the person responsible for her death and also, so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

The concert was at the University of Virginia, she was a VA Tech Student – thats two reasons. Two VA Tech students were killed a few months prior (another reason) and uh, remember the shooting at VA Tech????? You have children….if one was missing you would want everyone in the world to know.
Its sad to read that you are blasting the media for covering this story. Elizabeth Smarts family was involved in the search for Morgan as well so that brought more coverage. The girl being white, good looking didnt have anything to do with it. Maybe there just wasnt anything better to put on for people like you! I think the more coverage the better. Stir that pot, you disrespectable POS.
You got me all wrong. The point I was trying to make was that I’m sure she wasn’t the only person to go missing in America, but that’s how it seemed to be. If the media put half as much effort in to reporting other missing people, perhaps more would be found. Instead, their faces are plastered in Walmart and that’s the extent of the search. Thousands upon thousands of people go missing every year. Where is their media coverage?

Lol. I saw that name before and no, it’s not me. I go as HookInMouth.net. That guy is always saying something worthless. I really don’t think anyone is to blame except the person or people that did this to her. I have been waiting for some retarded media outlet to blame Metallica or somehow link their music or metal in general to her death. That would not have surprised me.
