So the big announcement came about that the Scorpions are “Breaking up” after their next album. There is a big difference between breaking up and retiring. This band has been together for a long-ass time. Sooner or later, even with new band member brought in to the mix in the last 30+ years, these guys are going to find and end point; something a lot of us wish would happen to other bands that seem to drag on until they have raped their own legacies.

So, Scorpions are RETIRING after they finish touring in support of their next album, due out in March called Sting In The Tail. Not breaking up. Not going on Hiatus. Retiring. End of story.
