Katatonia: Longest Year Video

With the upcoming release of their Longest Year Ep, Katatonia has made the following video to the title track from Ep. Longest Year comes very shortly after the release of 2009′s Night Is The New Day, which just came out back in November. Sadly it only contains two new songs and a different version of Day And Then The Shade and Idle Blood, along with the video below and the video for Day And Then The Shade. Chances are that everyone will download it anyway, but Night Is The New Day is definitely worth the buy.

I was gonna send you some info on this band after i heard them on my pandora account. But i searched on the site and realized you had definatly been covering them for a long time. I thought it was opeth for the first 5 seconds or so, but i like opeth much better. though i haven’t heard to much of them, the best kata. songs i have heard are like the opeth songs i don’t really care for enough to put on my playlists

    • I’ve got quite a few Kata tracks right now. I think I have covered them a handful of times or so, especially when the last album was coming out. Yeah, I like OPeth better too.
