Megadeth Endgame Tour: Richmond Virginia Review

endgame show

As soon as tickets for the North American Endgame tour went on sale I was all over it and bought my ticket. It cost me a little over $40 dollars but I had not been to a Megadeth show in over 12 years.

When we got to the venue there was a long line down the street and I figured it was going to be a long wait because it was listed that doors were opening at 6:45 pm and we got there a little less than an hour before the scheduled opening. Parked the car in a parking deck that said they were closing at 12:30 am and that had me a little worried because I wasn’t sure what time the show was supposed to be over but the attendant told me that it was supposed to be over by 11:30. American Carnage Tour: Coming To A City Near You…And Not Me

AmericanCarnageMFCI’m totally ready for the Endgame Tour coming this Saturday and just yesterday it was announced that Slayer and Megadeth fans will get their wish of bringing the Canadian Carnage Tour to U.S. soils. Properly titled The American Carnage Tour, Megadeth and Slayer are co-headlining and they are also dragging along bay area thrash legends Testament to top it all off. The only problem is that it’s only 26 dates and none of them are close enough for me to go. For everyone else that has the pleasure to make this, now is your chance to see history. I’m not angry or sad. I would love to see this tour but I’ve seen Megadeth, I’ve seen Slayer and I’ve seen Testament live. I would love to see them all on one tour and have one giant Metalgasm after another, but it’s not going to happen for me. Try to make it happen for you. Tour starts January 18th. It’s rumored right now that the final [26th] date will be in NY. Read the rest of this entry »

Krisiun Performing In Raleigh, NC on October 2nd

Friday night’s show was great. it was a much better turn-out than I expected; of course the classic bands always seem to draw a bigger crowd in this area. Warbringer opened the show with ferocity as usual and had the energy to get the crowd ready for the bands to come. The Berzerker, a band I had only heard of, made quite the impact with the death metal/grindcore infusion from Melbourne, Australia. A bit loud but they put on a great show too.

Krisiun has a brand new fan. Another band that I had only heard the name and just never had the interest to pursue Krisiun. Damn, I’ve been missing out. Read the rest of this entry »

Rockstar Mayhem Fest Wraps Up. Sends message To Fans

Mayhem fest

I couldn’t make it to this years Mayhem fest, even though I really wanted to. I’m sure everyone that attended had a great time. I’ve seen most of the bands that were on the roster at least once but it would have been nice to see Slayer again. Every year I imagine it will get progressively better and I can’t wait to see what next year brings. Here is a message from the people that brought it to you. Read the rest of this entry »
