A lot of people got excited to find out that they were going to see Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax and Testament all on the same stage. Nevermore North American Tour With Warbringer, Mutiny Within And Hatesphere

It seems that the fall tours are looking way better than 99% of the summer festivals in North America. Of course the Europeans point and laugh whenever the words ‘Summer’, ‘metal’, ‘festival’ and ‘North America’ are used in the same sentence. We try though; we try.

One of many tours that is lined up for this coming fall is Nevermore touring in support of their recently released The Obsidian Conspiracy, which I really haven’t had a chance to listen to. I’ll have to take care of that today. Along for the ride is Warbringer, who have become touring troopers, Mutiny Within and Hatesphere. This should be an awesome show. Tour dates are below. Ozz-Fest 2010. What A Mess!

Earlier today there were rumors for Ozzfest 2010. The rumors have been confirmed on Ozzfest.com and the line-up is quite a disappointment. There are a few bands that I would love to see, but mostly bands that I really could care less about. I wouldn’t pay money to go see this line-up, therefore I won’t. To all the rest of the folks that will and will-do. Enjoy. Not my cup of tea. I can see Skeletonwitch or Goatwhore in a smaller venue for a lot less money and with more great bands. With all the summer festivals and individual tours, no wonder Ozzfest is looking bleak.

I’m also not sure what some of the requirements are for the bands on the bill as far as pay-to-play, bus-only or any other shit like that. Summer Slaughter is looking better by the minute. Cheaper too. Tourdates and Line-up is below. Read the rest of this entry »

Wormrot’s First UK Tour, European Tour Follows

wormrot_uktour2010

My newest favorite in the handful of grindcore bands I listen to is Wormrot. The Singapore act is heading to UK for the first time for a run of dates followed by a full blow European tour. I guess North America is going to have to patiently wait it’s turn. Check out their debut EARACHE records album, Abuse. Tour dates and comments from Wormrot vocalist Arif after the fold.
