Exodus – Downfall Video NSFE (Not Safe For Epileptics)
Seriously. When I opened the press release from Nuclear Blast there was a bright yellow warning that said:
“***VIEWERS WHO ARE EPILEPTIC OR PRONE TO SEIZURES ARE ASKED NOT TO VIEW THIS VIDEO DUE TO ITS STROBING EFFECT.***”
So heed the warning if you pertain to those mentioned. Here is the Downfall video from Exodus. The rest of the presser follows:
The track comes off the band’s Billboard Top 200 charting album, Exhibit B: The Human Condition. The video was shot on April 1st on the old set of the television sitcom Night Court and features animated sequences by Los Angeles-based traditional animator Jeremy Polgar.

MESHUUUGAAHHH! Post ‘Bleed’ Video in High Definition
A band that I have perhaps not given enough listens to, Meshuggah have posted their new video, “Bleed” in High Definition at Vimeo. Over two years after their release of obZen, Meshuggah chose to release ‘Bleed‘ as a video in high-definition and have it directed by Ian McFarland & Mike Pecci of Killswitch Productions. Quite the creepy video. Again, it’s nice to see bands doing something different than MMA videos and performance footage.

Iron Maiden Want You To Buckle Up
Over the years a lot of marketing techniques have been used to sell products by targeting demographics. Of course most found that the best way to get the attention of a younger person was through music. The U.S. DOT and Ad Counsel actually got Iron Maiden to do an commercial for their Buckle Your Safety Belt campaign and had Vince and Larry, the crash test dummies attending an Iron Maiden Concert. I’m sure in 1991, when this commercial aired, it didn’t turn too many kids on to Iron Maiden or make the average ‘Maiden fan buckle up. I’m willing to bet that they were proud to see Iron Maiden on TV, getting a little press. Others may have thought “oh shit, Iron Maiden just sold out”. Either way it doesn’t matter. It’s a slightly entertaining look back to almost 20 years ago.
Pathology – Code Injection Video
San Diego, California’s brutal death band Pathology has posted their video for ‘Code Injection’ from their latest record, Legacy Of The Ancients. Legacy is their follow up to Age Of Onset, the last album they released with Comatose Music before being signed to Victory Metal. I was worried that the predominantly ‘core label would take their sound and steer them towards a more trendy Deathcore sound, but it looks like I was wrong…and gladly.
Landmine Marathon – Shadows Fed To Tyrants Video
Prosthetic press release follows the video. Yeah, I’m a lazy bastard. I know it.

Pro-Shot Sonisphere Bulgaria Footage Of All 4 Bands
Youtube user MrTallica4lifegbrtdy, has uploaded all sorts of great Sonisphere 2010 Sophia Bulgaria footage to include a much better quality version of the Am I Evil performance. Below are just picks of my favorites out of the bunch. I hate to admit, but I think Dave needs some kind of vocal coaching or something to hit those semi-higher notes, granted his voice might have been shot from the previous shows and songs. Anyway, watch them all on MrTallica4lifegbrtdy‘s Channel.
Nevermore – Emptiness Unobstructed Video
The new Nevermore album hasn’t really grabbed me yet, as I said in the latest Blogcast on The Number Of The Blog. It’s not a bad album by any means. The songs and musicianship are solid as we have come to expect from Nevermore. I’m not sure what it is but it just doesn’t do anything to make me want to listen to it more than once. This is one of the tracks that I dig, but they are few and far between. Here is Nevermore’s Emptiness Unobstructed video from The Obsidian Conspiracy.
