I Still Love Absolute Vengeance
Absolute Vengeance out of Northern Virginia was one of the first bands I made contact with when I started blogging. If you have been following my bloggings long enough, I’m sure you’ve heard me mention them at least once. Still rather unknown outside of Virginia, they have a small collection of songs that will hopefully one day circulate more widely around the metal globe. I’ve yet to see a live show, even though I only live about 4 to 6 hours away from most of the areas they play. Maybe one day this summer or fall I will make my way up there.
They have shared the stage with various well known metal acts. Currently I don’t have a clue what they are up to cause they haven’t updated their Myspace blog in about a year. I do know that they were planning a split with Age Of Ruin, but now I think that band is defunct or something. They released an EP a few years ago with 3 songs on it and have recorded a few more songs that you can hear on their Myspace, as well as listent o a few below in the reverbnation player. They aren’t exactly paddlin’ up the main stream of metal but they’re making waves in the wading pool and are very worthy of hearing and giving praise for their music or latest albums. Another Free MP3…From Absolute Vengeance
I know I said I was going to take the holiday off, but I can’t help myself on this. Absolute Vengeance is a metal band from Northern VA that deserves more attention. Now I know there are probably a thousand bands out there that don’t get the attention they deserve and most bands that do get attention these days are mediocre metalcore bands. That’s why we have to try to get this shit done one band at a time and spread the love for the bands that deserve more recognition. These guys have been working hard at it for a few years and know that it doesn’t come free and easy.
