Video: Hatebreed – Everyone Bleeds Now…So Grab A Tampon
Another album that I have forgotten about in the last few months or so. Maybe it’s because I mainly only listen to Hatebreed when I work out…and my lazy ass hasn’t done much of that lately. Noisecreep debuted Everyone Bleeds Now, from Hatebreeds 2009 self-titled release. They mention that it’s typical Hatebreed; nothing too extravagant. Just Hatebreed.
Review – Hatebreed
Hatebreed‘s decision to make this a self titled album is as about as lazy as this review. Well, maybe not.
Hatebreed’s self titled album leaves a lot of the Chugga-chugga behind and adds a bit more complex riffs than you have probably ever heard on any Hatebreed album. Solos on a Hatebreed album? You better believe it. While it still holds the classic hardcore sound of Hatebreed, Wayne Lozinak‘s return brings a little more complexity to Hatebreed’s sound in such a great way. You even get to hear Jasta “sing” a bit more with more inflection in his voice. Read the rest of this entry »
Download Hatebreed's New Merciless Tide Mp3
I know I’ve kind of been plastering Megadeth and Hatebreed all over the place lately so I’ll keep this short. You can download a new Hatebreed MP3 from their upcoming self titled album. The track is called Merciless Tide and can be downloaded HERE. Look for the new album on September 29th. get the mp3 while you can. Kind of reminds me of old school Slayer. The riffs that is.

This package will run you $35.99, which is a pretty good deal for what you’re getting.
Look for Hatebreed’s self titled album on the 29th on E1 Records.
Hatebreed: "In Ashes They Shall Reap" Video
The first single for Hatebreed‘s new, self-titled album has me kind of excited to hear the rest upon it’s release. The video for the first single, From Ashes They Shall Reap, just premiered on Headbanger’s Blog (I was wondering if those guys were still alive). It’s your typical Hatebreed video but it’s still pretty good. I like this song more and more every time I hear it.
Hooked! Thrash Metal Edition Podcast
So, here it is, the Hooked! Thrash Metal Edition of the Hook In Mouth Podcast. Again, I’m all over the place between songs. I tried to minimize the “uhs’ and Ums” but shit, I can’t help it I guess. Also I’m a little stuffed up from allergies right now so I sound like a little kid.
Below is the track list of the songs and bands I played. Stay tuned in a couple of weeks for more thrash metal. I love it and it it’s timeless. That’s why there are so many thrash metal bands still out there. Not because it’s trendy but because thrash metal kicks ass like no other. This edition ran about an hour and 30 minutes [63.4 mb]. the Megadeth sample levels (from Amazon.de) are kind of loud but you get the point.
If you enjoyed the bands in this podcast, please buy the albums and go to their shows if they come to your local venues. Support the bands’; otherwise you’ll just have to listen to the garbage force-fed to you by the radio waves. Read the rest of this entry »
Stream A New Hatebreed Song, Smash Things To Bits
Just when you think all Hatebreed songs sound similar, they throw a slight change up on you. While the new song does have the typical Hatebreed sound and anthem, there seems to be a little bit of a melody and Jasta actually changes the inflection and key of his voice a few times. I don’t know if this is perhaps from a little influence from returning guitar player Wayne Lozinak or what.
Just when I expected a new Hatebreed song to sound like an old Hatebreed song, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Stream the song at Hatebreed’s Myspace and let me know how you feel about it.
The new self titled album is set for a September 29th release on E1 Music (Formerly Koch). Track List [copied from wiki] after the fold.
The Scrap Metal Report 6/22/09
- Album titles revealed: So far in the passed 4 days we’re learning that 4 bands with upcoming albums have revealed the titles. Megadeth have revealed Endgame as the title to the new album. Slayer have chosen a rather strange title in World Painted Blood. I’m a bit confused by this title as I think it rolls off the tongue a little better as Blood Painted World, but that’s just me. Shadows Fall have gone with Retribution for their next one and Hatebreed is rumored to be going with a self-titled thing.
Metallica is releasing the first ever Cliff Burton Biography, “To Live Is To Die”. Should be an interesting read.
