Blabbermouth posted an excerpt of an interview with Slayer’s Dave Lombardo from Rhythm Magazine. Here is a short part of it where Dave Lombard says that he could teach Lars a few things.

Rhythm: Playing with METALLICA at Download in 2004 must have been quite an experience.

Lombardo: “Yeah. Show ‘em how it’s done! No disrespect to Lars [Ulrich], because Lars is great and he’s a very nice guy, but he needs to spend a week at my house and we need to sit down and play. I could show him — ‘No, Lars, like this!’… ‘Let’s chill, let’s relax, have some coffee and let’s play!’ Hahahahaha!”

While we’re at it let’s have Dave Mustaine teach Kirk a thing or two about leads and Tom Araya re-teach Jamez how to sing raw and gritty again. Then perhaps we can have another listinable Metallica record. I think Lars is way too busy trying to remember the good old days of “Bonding” with “friends in bathroom stalls.

Kirk is still a great guitar player but his style has grown old and annoying. Almost as annoying as James’ vocals when he tries to sing old classic Metallica songs all ‘purty’ and shit. I can’t say shit about Rob because he’s a tight bass player, even though I believe he had a great influence on the “crab-core’ retards.

As if you really needed more proof that Lars Ulrich is a tool, we are blessed with more news. Lars donated $2300 to John Edwards presidential campaign last year. Damn, Lars could you have dug a little deeper? You drop thousands on a painting but you don’t invest much in your next possible American leader. Anyway he was also asked a bunch of questions by Why Democracy?, a project to promote a world wide democracy discussion. Below are the questions and answers I would give. 1. Who would you vote as President of the World?

• Answer: George W, cause he’s done such a wonderful job with the U.S.

2. Can terrorism destroy democracy?

• Answer: The Question is: Can Democracy destroy Terrorism?

3. Who rules the world?

• Answer: Not sure, but I do know that Master-blaster runs Barter town.

4. Why bother to vote?

• Answer: Why bother to bitch if you don’t bother to vote?

5. Are women more democratic than men?

• Answer: They surely use the freedom of speech much more often.

6. Is God democratic?

• Answer: Didn’t God appoint himself the leader of everything, so wouldn’t that make him a dictator?

7. What would make you start a revolution?

• Answer: Ban heavy metal and see what happens.

8. Can democracy solve climate change?

• Answer: Can ball-sweat quench your thirst? What kind of stupid question is that?

9. Is democracy good for everyone?

• Answer: America seems to think so. While it’s a great thing it doesn’t work for every country.

10. Are dictators ever good?

• Answer: Ask the millions of Cuban refugees about dictatorships.
