Just another Monday. Long boring work-day and I get home and there isn’t a whole lot of metal news that I’m interested in reporting, with the exception of a few things in my inbox.

• First up, Neuraxis have begun writing the follow up to their tech-death Prosthetic debut “The Thin Line Between“.

Vocalist Alex Leblanc commented on the writing process; “It’s going extremely well. We are working on three new songs right now, one of which is already finished. The chemistry with the new guys is awesome. They really bring tons of energy to the band. Both of them are bringing fresh ideas to the mix and are really creative. The writing is going a lot faster than we expected so fans won’t have to wait a long time to hear it. The new material sounds phenomenal. Vicious, dark and epic are the words that come to mind when you listen to the new songs. Expect a brand new beast from this one. You guys won’t believe it!”

• Roadrunner reports that Soulfly will be releasing Omen on May 10th. If it’s anything like Conquer then I’m excited.
• Nachmystium, a band that has been plagued with bad luck and bullshit in the past year are starting to record their new album.

The Haunted are returning to North America to tour with Nachmystium, Kylesa and Intronaut. The tour Starts in Ca on April 2nd and ends in GA on April 24th. The Haunted are touring in support of their album “Versus” that was released in October. I may try to catch a show.
