Krisiun Performing In Raleigh, NC on October 2nd
Friday night’s show was great. it was a much better turn-out than I expected; of course the classic bands always seem to draw a bigger crowd in this area. Warbringer opened the show with ferocity as usual and had the energy to get the crowd ready for the bands to come. The Berzerker, a band I had only heard of, made quite the impact with the death metal/grindcore infusion from Melbourne, Australia. A bit loud but they put on a great show too.

Videos that Kick Ass: Obituary's I Don't Care
It’s almost hard to believe that over 10 years ago that Obituary put out this song on the album The End Complete. A very environmentally aware video that touches on the pollution we’re inflicting on this planet. I love John Tardy’s voice no matter what anyone says…I REALLY DON’T CARE!
Other New Songs Streaming To Check Out
I was about to shut it down for the night and I found (through other blogs on my RSS) some other new songs streaming online for you guys to check out.
- Obituary is streaming List Of The Dead on their Myspace. List Of The Dead will be on the new album Darkest Day, coming on June 30th.
- Krisiun posted a new, unreleased track Infested Waters on their Myspace.
- Suicide Silence are streaming Wake Up on their Myspace, which will be on their new album No Time To Bleed, coming on June 30th. Obviously they’ve watched Predator one too many times.
- Job For A Cowboy has also posted a new song from their upcoming album, Ruination. Check out Unfurling A Darkened Gospel on Myspace.
- Coalesce are streaming their entire new album on Lambgoat.com, where you can read all the “Van Flip” and “Fagget” comments if you like. Meh, not feeling this one.
- Al Jourgensen’s 13 Planet Records is offering a FREE download of a 6 song sampler at Vampirefreaks.com. The 5 song/2 video sampler includes Ministry, Ascension Of The Watchers, Stayte, False Icons and Revolting Cocks.
Preorder Obituary's Darkest Day
You can pre-order Obituary‘s new album Darkest Day which comes out on June 30th in North America and June 15th in Europe, from Candlelight Records through Plastichead.com. It’s a UK pre-order so it’s £15. I’m not sure what shipping would cost if you ordered it from the U.S.. Along with this package comes a t-shirt in a limited edition package with extra tracks. I’m way behind on Obituary, but they used to be a favorite of mine. Here are the details. Read the rest of this entry »
