All That Remains Kicks Off Tour With In Flames And Gojira
Or In Flames Kicks off tour with All That Remains…and Gojira! It doesn’t matter which way to read it, this is going to be a great show. You have In Flames who released a kick ass cd this year with A Sense Of Purpose. All That Remains release Overcome, which I’m not really feeling as much as I was the first few times I heard it. Only a few songs stick with me…but Gojira. God damn, The Way Of All Flesh is un’fuckin’believable.
Opening the show is 36 Crazyfists, who I’ve seen twice and don’t remember either time. Not because they suck…because I really don’t know. Both time I was preoccupied with other, more important things during their sets.
All That Remains has sold over 70,000 copies of Overcome since it’s release on September 16th. That pretty damn good these days! I know a lot of people give them shit for being “posers” or “Metalcore-whatevers”, but these guys have a shitload of talent and put on a great live performance.
