I’ve been sitting on some reviews for a bit just for the sole reason that time is short and reviews can eat a lot of it up. So here is a run down of some of the new or upcoming Metal Blade band reviews in the short and sweet.

As You Drown - Reflection

As You Drown – Reflection: Sweden’s As You Drown attempt at a death metal record is a good attempt. It’s heavy and sometimes melodic but the problem that arises is that these guys will get thrown in to the Deathcore pool because, well, they already have been compared to Whitechapel. They also don’t do a whole lot to set themselves apart from the deathcore bands and on top of that there is not a lot of variety in the music. It all kind of melds together at times.
